The hour hand is a later replacement but still blued steel like the hour hand. Underneath the bezel there are a couple of chips to the very edge. The watch has a white enamel dial, the visible part of which is in good condition, just a couple of short faint hairlines by number 10. The case is nickel and overall is in good condition with just a small “ding” to the hinged case back. The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover (which has a few surface scratches). The serial number on the movement, 1,445,176, dates the watch back to 1908. The watch has a stem-winding movement, Eterna 431, which is working nicely. An antique 1908 Eterna pocket watch with chain.
