The progression of each student is customized according to the student’s musical goals. We have fun at every lesson because there are many activities to engage and challenge the student. This approach teaches students from the start the technique to play the instruments, the coordination needed for drum set, and the ability to read music. This is why my approach to teaching children starts right away with three areas of percussion: snare drum, music reading on bells, and drum set. Young students are drawn to the variety of instruments in a percussion section.

My studio is equipped with a drum set, multiple snare drums, Latin percussion instruments, marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, bells, timpani, and sound system.
